3 Presentation Ideas

Standard
  1. Credibility Assessment

For a presentation to test the credibility of an institution, group, or organization I would see whether or not there is any information available online about them. I would also see if there is any reviews or comments about the institution, group, or organization by members of the group. I would also check their website to see whether or not it looks informative. I would do this because sometimes people judge whether a group or organization is reliable through the website.

2. Personal Interest

Personally I am interested in fashion, so I thought that a presentation on bicycles fashion would be an interesting idea. I would speak about how differently people dressed while riding bicycles, starting from when the bicycle was first invented to now. I would also compare the different styles that bicyclist wear depending on whether they bike for casually for fun or if they bike competitively. If they bike competitively I could talk about the different advantages or disadvantages for different types of clothing. Another thing I could talk about for a presentation on bicycle fashion is the different things worn depending it is a man or a woman riding the bicycle.

3. Academic or Professional Interest

I am majoring in nursing, so I feel like giving a presentation on the effects of riding a bicycle on the body is something I would do. I could research the how the body, particularly the muscles and bones, are impacted by how you sit on a bicycle or how you hold onto the handlebars. I could also compare how different types of bicycles, such as a mountain bike or a bike used for casual use, affect the body. In addition to that I could compare which bike would put less strain on the body.
