Communication Studies is very versatile, and I’m an adaptable person. Thus, I think COMS studies was perfect for me!

The fact I can do pretty much anything in any field with COMS.

Narrowing down what I want to do after I graduate with a COMS degree.

What attracted you to your initial major(s) and minor(s)?: My dad wanted me to be an investment banker and I thought Finance would help with that.

What inspired you to change program(s)?: I hated math and really wanted to follow my passion for flower arranging.

What did you like best about your major(s) and minor(s)?: I still got a basic business background but there was more room for creativity.

What was most challenging about your major(s) and minor(s)?: The Accounting and Finance classes.

How did your major(s) and minor(s) prepare you for your career?: Entrepreneurship helped me develop a sound business plan.

What resources helped you with your exploration journey?: I met with my CASA coach and he was really helpful.

What advice do you have for students exploring majors?: Don’t be afraid to follow your heart – it’s your life!
