Bicycles have been in and out of my life, as I tend to lose interest in riding after a certain period of time. However, my disinterest doesn’t last very long. My experience with bicycles shared some similarity to Strickland’s. I can remember a lot of the details of my past bikes, much like him. And I remember customizing my low quality childish bike with flashy objects with my friends. It was like adding a nice new part to your car. I believe we differ in our passion for bicycles, though. It seems that bicycles were always in Strickland’s life. This does not remain true for me. I’ve gone from training wheels to scraper bikes to BMXing to fixed gear biking.
