If you are not getting any sound from projector, go to your sound settings and make sure that the appropriate audio output is selected.
Classroom Laptops (Windows 10)
- On the classroom laptop click on the sound icon in the bottom right hand corner and hit the arrow in the top right corner. Select the appropriate audio source.
Apple Computers (Macintosh)
- Press ‘command + space’ and type in “Sound” press enter and you will be brought to your sound settings. Click on the Output tab and select the appropriate output.
What audio source to select
- If you are using the HDMI cable, the audio source you will want will say HDMI or PROJECTOR.
- AUX if you are using the VGA cable, the audio source will say AUX, HEADPHONE, or EXTERNAL SPEAKER.
- The names of these outputs will change depending on the computer you are using; these are just some examples of what the outputs might say.
- If you have everything set up correctly but don’t hear any audio, turn up the audio on your computer and on the wall panel.
