Reading Response-Citing Evidence

The article that I read was Citing Evidence by Joseph Zompetti. In the article he spoke about how to properly cite your soruces as well as the importance behind properly labeling your sources. He also, emphasizes in his closing statements that evidence does nog make or break your paper. You shouldn’t allow evidence to completely dominate your argument or misquote your evidenc, which is something that I think is very important to recognize.

In terms of evidence that I deem credible, I think evidence that is very detailed and a quote(depending on who it is from) is credible. Evidence can be misused I think if it is taken out of context or if you completely misinterpret the quote. Which is sort of obvious being that you can really effectively use a quote if you do not understand it.
