2003 – Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO), Guadalajara, México

In 2003 the CITM annual meeting, the second in a venue outside the US, was hosted by the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO), Guadalajara, México. Forty-five representatives from 23 AJCU institutions, and 22 representatives from 13 schools in the Asociación de Universidades Confiadas a la Compañía de Jesús en América Latina (AUSJAL) participated. Plenary session topics included academic technology, the Fe y Alegría movement, classroom technology, and electronic portfolios. This meeting occupied the first half of the week, and it was immediately followed by a meeting of the AJCU Deans of Adult and Continuing Education (DACE), with many of their AUSJAL peers, in the second half of the week. Most participants arrived early enough to enjoy a day trip to the town of Tequila on the Saturday before the meeting began.
