Hi everyone! My name is Alessandra and I use she/her pronouns. I am a freshman and it is my second semester here at USF. I have yet to declare a major but I am leaning towards Critical Diversity Studies with a minor in Legal Studies. I was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan a small suburban city right outside Detroit. Michigan is a state that tends to go unnoticed, summers at home with all our fresh water lakes and untouched land in the north are really beautiful. Although, I really prefer living in San Francisco. I am happiest when I am outside, doing something active, or staying busy. I love all the parks in the city but my favorite is definitely Mission Dolores Park. Writing is my weakest academic skill but that is exactly why I’m looking forward to this class so that I can not be intimidated by writing and instead use it as a powerful tool I feel confident using.
