For my literacy narrative I am considering writing about my trip to Italy in March. Going on this trip was something I was looking forward to for a very long time but with COVID it almost didn’t happened so when we were finally approved to go I was very excited. We were scheduled to be gone for 7 days and I wasn’t feeling the best for most of them. However when I wasn’t feeling to bad and we would travel to different cities I was amazed to see how different other countries are from the U.S. It was a complete cultural shock because this was my first time out of the country. The foods, the people, the transportation, the language, the architecture, everything was so different. Being there made me realize how much I enjoyed traveling (besides the long plane rides) and how I hoped I could continue to travel a lot more.
