Write a Letter at the Library!

Come write a letter at the library this Thursday, February 14th! We’ll provide some supplies (paper, pens, stamps, envelopes) and inspiration (books about letter writing, books about famous authors’ correspondence, manuscripts and sonnets on display in the Rare Book Room). I opened one of the books on display to this John Steinbeck letter that I had heard about online — http://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2012/01/john-steinbeck-on-falling-in-love-a-1958-letter/251375/#. It’s pretty great, if a bit outdated in parts. 🙂 So awesome that Gleeson had the book!
