Gleeson Library’s Special Collections are housed in the Donohue Rare Book Room, and feature more than 17,000 items including books, manuscripts, photographs, drawings, engravings, and other artworks. But you don’t have to come to the library to look at some of our collections — you can visit the library’s digital collections online!
Each month, we add new images and digitized documents to our digital collections. In October 2022, we added 15 images to our Printing and Graphic Arts Collection and 29 items to our Woman Suffrage Collection. We also added 22 issues of the Foghorn from 2017 & 2019. Read Foghorn stories from 2017 about the 4th Annual Dons 5K organized by USF’s Army ROTC program, or a cover story about students protesting in solidarity with DREAMers, or articles about the student activism that led to renaming Phelan Hall to Toler Hall.
