On September 17th, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention gathered in Philadelphia, PA to sign the Constitution of the United States. To commemorate the ratification of the U.S. Constitution and celebrate all who have become citizens of the United States, all educational institutions that receive federal funds provide programming and information on September 17th of each year. USF Campus activities this year in celebration of Constitution Day and Citizenship Day include the following:
National Voter Registration Day with USFVotes: Our University is a proud partner of National Voter Registration Day which is taking place on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024. Visit USFVotes tabling locations across campus to register to vote, update your registration, or request mail-in ballots in time for the upcoming election on November 5th. Political Poster Making with Favianna Rodriguez: Tuesday, September 17th, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, in Fromm Hall — Room 120/Xavier Auditorium. Participate in a dynamic political poster making opportunity with Favianna Rodriguez, Bay Area based interdisciplinary artist, cultural organizer, and social justice activist. Favianna will guide us through the creative process to ensure that everyone feels their voice is expressed through their art. Express your voice and creativity while honoring the right to free speech on Constitution Day and National Voter Registration Day. More information is available here.
