This year Gleeson Library | Geschke Center celebrates National Library Week (April 19th – 25th) virtually. During National Library Week the American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom releases the State of America’s Libraries report with a list of the top ten frequently challenged books from the past year. Here are the most frequently challenged books of 2019. To kick-off the week, some of Gleeson’s student assistants read excerpts from their favorite banned or challenged books while sheltering-in-place.
