Responding to Auarag Karthikeyan

This was a well written response that clearly analyzed the main points of the reading. This writing also used quotes from the reading to help prove their point. A point that he made is that knowing how to write an argument helps us assess opposing arguments.

Hello, my name is Henry. My pronouns are he/him. This is my second year at the University of San Francisco. My Major is Architecture. I come from Redwood City, California. My city has the only natural port for hundreds of miles. A fun fact is that this port collects rocks from Canada for making concrete. A hobby of mine is sewing.

I wrote a lot when I was in high school. As a class we would write essays about current events and novels. I’ve used writing in science classes to get my ideas across. Writing can be quite informative. I’ve written short stories before, but not many. I enjoy writing about novels and scientific papers. I dislike finalizing my drafts, I much prefer the earlier stages of projects.

I wish to learn about arranging information in essays and how to take writing critiques constructively. I want to share my writing with others and observe other people’s writing.
