The article that I chose named “Hair to the rescue as oil pollution blights coastlines”. This article was about a town of Brignoles in southeast France where they are planning to stuff human hair into nylon stockings to make floating tubes. These tubes will lie harbours to help clean the ocean oil pollution. The people there are waiting the “the green light” from labour inspectors and anti-pollution officials to start their plan. According to the hairdresser in Saint -Zacharie near Brignoles and also the founder of Fair Hairdresser project, hair is lipophilic. It absorbs fats and hydrocarbons.
