February 8th, 2022: Free Writing

On her first day of kindergarten, a small girl with freckled rosy cheeks was ready to tackle on the playground for the very first time. She ran with nothing but pure joy and adrenaline rushing through her; but not yet realizing her clumsy nature and the speed of which her legs moved, she fell. This small girl happened to be myself, and the scar that would most definitely be prominent after the fall is still existing on my left elbow. The aftermath was quite obvious, the average reaction of a child after feeling the asphalt rip their skin; exposing the white meat and blood was to cry
