Alisha Mwantza response got my attention because she thinks the same as me personal or not, students can contract their opinion on how qualified someone is and you can hear or understand how they are when they talk and see if they’re trust worthy or not. And you can always look up and see how long someone has been researching or working in the topic they’re speaking about.

I read jiarun li post and we had the same idea and agreed on it when it came to the last part with knowing want you want with your presentation the outcome and purpose.

“For the Forbes article, the strategy that I want to choose is Know what you want. This is pretty similar to knowing the purpose. This limits the audience which is a good thing. Because by doing this, more people that are actually care the article will read it and they will know that this article was for people like them.”

I looked at jaspers and kudos responses and I saw a lot of my other classmates responses and I realized a lot of us agreed on the same thing when it comes to having a strong argument and a strong intro and conclusion is the way to have a strong argument with presenting it makes it interesting and you know what you’re talking about.

my comments on my Essay: While your ideas are really captivating in this essay and are intriguing to read, this submission doesn’t fulfill the requirements of the assignment, which is about selecting an op-ed article or an editorial and doing a rhetorical analysis (please read the assignment prompt more carefully and see the evaluation criteria to help you complete the process step-wise).
Please let me know if you want to meet with me individually to discuss your revision plans.

I just forgot to add the article to my writing but I did find an article.

The problem education system is something I’ve been thinking a lot about, why we choose to go with the flow have all these standards for what we need to learn instead of learning what we want. We have all these understandings and agreements with terms we dint sign up for. and as we get older and more self aware we still continue to follow what they say mostly teachers social ,media, how we should live our life go to college get a degree because that’s what is normal. Learn math and learn science even though you’ll never use this information again and oh don’t forget to learn a foreign language that you’ll forget next year as well. its stressful and brings no real meaning or passion to our lives at a certain point we should be able to decide what why we are taking these classes, I want to be a part of a school that lets students build their own degrees and choose classes that interest them that they will use in their life to better them, not because someone says so. but then again that’s in ideal world. and its complicated so have to stick to norms.  for my essay ill explain why I think schools should be different start later and also curriculum should change.

“But the most important kind of love is the kind we most often neglect: self love. I gave that up in my desperate search for love from you, and I lost sight of who I am and what makes me happy. So instead of sitting around waiting for a text from you that will probably never come, I’m choosing myself every day. To wake up and remind myself that I am strong, and worthy of being loved the way I wanted to love you. Someday, I will get that kind of love from another person, someone capable of allowing me to love them.” I read this tiny article about love and how we are all affected by someone in that way and tend to forgot a lot about self love and nurturing ourselves. Wanting and feeling like we need validation from others or someone to love us to feel loved. when really we need to love and take care our ourselves first and really learn how to do so. It is very hard and can be harder at different points in our live. but I thought this article was very interesting because it caught my attention and I saw myself doing the same things when it came to relationships. Loving someone because they love you is not love.

In class audio essay group work 9/14

Abby’s audio essay showed us about her puppy she got, I loved the pictures and how she narrated her story. It was cute and something I liked listening too, and also easy to follow along, her slides flowed very well and it all made sense. I know she has editing to do but for a rough draft I think she has an excellent start.

In jaspers rough draft it shows how he learned to be a DJ and what he did to pursue his art by buying everything he needed to make that come true and how he will do it in the future. I think his start is great and has a great rough draft. maybe more color and clearer pictures. other than that both of their drafts were really good.

pathos: apealing to audience emotion for pets and loving animals, and relating to pet owners.

logos: Speaker is probably a pet owner himself so a lot of what he is saying is true and audience can back it up as well by being pet owners too.
