Expedition #3
Today we went with my two roommates and one roommate’s uncle down to Fisherman’s Wharf, the pier, the Ferry building, union square, and Ghirardelli Square. These seem like cliché tourist spots to San Francisco natives, but for me, coming from Hawai’i, I have only been to some of these spots one or two times my whole life! It is really cool to see just a few of the things that San Francisco is known for and how close I am to these landmarks from our campus! Along the way, we saw many cyclists both zooming past the cars and taking a casual stroll. We had gotten to our destinations by bus and walking, and I often found myself longing to have a bicycle to get to places faster and with less effort! Walking a lot today made me appreciate the bicycle I am using for class even more!

Although I am now vegan and can’t eat the ice cream at Ghirardelli Square, it was still a great sight to see!
