Family businesses really help to keep the “American Dream” alive!

I enjoyed Devyn’s speech for the Module 2 speeches on Evidence. I think that Devyn did a great job of using her personal connections to her advantage. Her dad being an entrepreneur and business owner himself was a great connection into the theme for this module, evidence. This is primary evidence coming from a primary source, her dad, I think really helped to strengthen what she was talking about and the engagement of the audience. We had talked about what we want to be in the future and why during the Sacramento conference, so it was cool to get some background behind that and for her to share her passions and personal connections to business to the class!
