One incident that positively changed the future of my country took place in the year 1947, India got freedom from the “British Raj (rule)”. The conditions of Indian citizens were horrifying on their own soil, anyone who tried fighting for freedom was arrested and beaten brutally. One significant personality who stood out and had a huge contribution towards India gaining their freedom was Mahatma Gandhi, they had several protests, debates and campaigns to fight the British rule. This has had a huge impact on my country, as every single citizen of India now has a sense of freedom. However, because of the British rule 85% of the population can communicate in English. The Britishers also
introduced several aspect of Britian in India such as their architechture, public transport and language. This is relevant today because a lot of how India operates today, is from the insights of how the british ran the country. I chose to write about this incident, because as an Indian I feel extremely proud about how my country gained it’s independence and the hardships they faced in doing the same.
There is no one in my family who has a leadership role, rather the leadership role is shared by all in the family, and everyone’s opinions and suggestions are considered and whatever decision is taken by anyone in the family is always for the betterment of everyone in the family. My family never believed in arranged marriages, my grandparents were in a relationship for 7 years before getting married and my parents have known each other since high school, and then had alone marriage. Women have been facing a lot of gender inequality in today’s society, this cruelty towards women should be stopped, this would allow them to excel and achieve everything they deserve.

After reading Mr. Tika’s comments, I realised that my strengths are summarising and synthesizing, I will continute to maintain quality in these two essay writing skills for more effecvtive responses/essays in the future. Organization of essay was not done effectively, the rerason for this, in my opinion, is that there was lot of content I was working with, however with the mindset of learning from all mistakes, I will take this as a positive takeaway as I learned that the way I organised the essay was not effective, and will make sure essays/responses are organised more effectively, with more attention. My essay also lacked references top outside research, which aid to make the essay more argumentative/informative, I will add two or more outside references to my essays/responses to persuade the audience more effectively.
The way Huzaifa has introduced the online essay in his response is excellent. Futhermore, the way he has summarised the entire essay is extremely good. Although he has written an extrmely good summary, Huzaifa has not paid attention to the guiding question while writing the response, he has set his entire focus on summarising the essay, whereas while writing my response I kept focusing on the guiding questions, which wanted to know our likes and dislikes of the onloine essay, and in my opinion thats the main difference between mine and Huzaifa’s response.

c) Use a comma plus a coordinating conjunction (FANBOYS: for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so)

Janet left for work early; however, she arrived late.
e) Change one of the clauses to a subordinate clause by means of a subordinating conjunction
Although Janet left for work early, she arrived late.

A diverse workforce is a group of employees with different social, national, culture and racial backgrounds, such a combination of employees stems for an enviornment of multiculturalism in their behaviour. However, in a study conducted in 12 countries from the continent of Europe, which investigated the relationship between Productivity and Diversity, the results stated “Cultural diversity may affect productivity through negative externalities more than positive externalities” (Karim & Zaki, 2019, p. 80).
