Elaine, Nila, and John went to Kauai for Psychotria research in August 2016. We had the pleasure staying at the National Tropical Botanical Garden and worked at their herbarium, as well as taking numerous excursions into the field. We got to go in the field with our collaborator Dr. Kenta Watanabe, which was great fun. Since the trip included two millennials, we took lots of selfies.
