Title: Success is not a comfortable procedure

In the short video, Steve Harvey discusses the hardships and challenges about achieving success combined with the idea of a comfort zone acting as a point where people will fail. Its effectiveness and main message is clear, evident with the usage of added music/effects, in addition to the way Harvey conveys the message. He uses many hand signals with a demanding yet inspirational tone of voice that influences the audience to not get comfortable when striving to be successful, as it’s not an easy thing to obtain. From the short video, he mentions that “You have to get comfortable being uncomfortable if you ever want to be successful.” He demonstrates a clear effectiveness in catching the audience’s attention based on what Harvey was trying to point out on the idea that you have to be comfortable in being uncomfortable if you want to be successful. Nothing comes easy and it takes dedication and confidence to go through it. This video effectively uses pathos to persuade its audience to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Harvey speaks in a very passionate manner that aims to motivate whoever is listening to him. Additionally, the use of “emotional” music playing in the background adds to the sense of heightened emotion overall.
