NOV/28 Class 14

In the Ted Talk, The success of nonviolent civil resistance, Erica Chenoweth discusses the topic of human rights. She claims that nonviolent civil resistance works more successfully than violent civil resistance. She addresses that she used to believe violent can solve everything until she attended an academic workshop and did the research herself. The result shows that from 1900 to 2006, nonviolent campaigns worldwide were twice as likely to succeed. She suggests people think about the alternatives instead of violence.
