Nov 30- argumentative speech

I can talk about how teachers should make learning not stressful. Many classes that go at a fast past, assign a lot of assignments, and complicated textbook readings make students stressed which effects their learning. Stressful work like this can be traumatizing and study show that our bodies forget traumatizing things that happen to us as a survival technique.

I believe the right to vote as a women is one of the most important historical event that has positively shaped the future for my country and people because it started the progress of equality between genders. Even though we have sexism today, having the right to vote has helped shape the progress of having a country that benefits both genders. When the process began many women stood up to men an even their husbands which was very rare at the time. These brave women created many peaceful protests which caused awareness of the lack of rights women had at the time. Women were being arrested and attacked verbally and physically by people for speaking out about wanting to vote. This historic event started a new beginning for women in the united states and with out the effort of these women in 1920 I wouldn’t have the rights I have today.

It’s relevant to today because currently many people are arguing the right to have an abortion. As a women it’s important to have a vote on topics like this because men aren’t effected by abortions. If men were the only ones able to vote today many of my rights would be taken away, such as the right to have an abortion. In 2020 I’m happy I can make the decision for my own body and not males.

I looked at Henry’s responds, he was writing about the same thing I was but he went more in detail. When writing I tend to not know how to explain the topic very well but henry did pretty well with this. He also brought in personal experience, while I lacked in relating this to be personal life. He brought in examples from the book would made it more clear how to effectively get across to the audience with a presentation.
