Group 2: Mohammad, Halimat, and Deema.

Eurocentric today is defined differently than in Greek in Roman philosophers’ time, which was influenced and discussed through Arab thinkers such as Al Farrabi and Ibn Rushd. Other rhetorical contributions were studied by European orientalists, and that defined the parameters of what would be included and taught. European nations and Christian nations had more power and dominated. Therefore, other non-western countries, that did have a major impact on rhetorical studies, kept their own teachings and rules within their countries and as part of their cultural practices. Part of this could be a result of the Church being the dominant ruler. Contributions that could have been made include medicine, art, artifacts, metaphors, numbers, and poetry.
