Join the Gleeson Library Zine Collective and Thacher Gallery for an afternoon of collage, poetry, and zine making on Friday, March 26th from 11:45 am – 2 pm. We will work together to cut and paste to create a personal and/or collaborative zine that reflects and chronicles our evolving feelings as we mark a year of pandemic and the challenges and hope we face in the new year.
Zines are what you make them! They are self-published magazines that come in many forms and can be about poetry, photography, comics, memoirs, social commentary, or criticism.
- Register for the event!
- Order a Zine Kit by March 12 or you can also bring your own materials (paper, magazines, stickers, scissors, glue/tape).
You are welcome to join for the entire session or pop in and out as it fits your schedule.
Don’t forget to donate your personal zine to Gleeson’s Zine Library! You can donate your personal zine using the return envelope included in the zine kit. Here is more information on donating zines.
