Freewriting:
I’ve chosen an Op-ed article to write about for my rhetorical analysis essay. It is titled “Price caps on Russian oil aren’t ideal. But they’re our best option.” The article comes from The Washington Post. I believe I will be comfortable analyzing and writing on this topic because I am already well-versed in it. I chose this topic not only to educate myself on current political and economic events but also to share this knowledge with others who may be interested. I intend to create an outline (introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion) in the rhetorical analysis format. Using the layout from the textbook would assist me to complete this task efficiently.
