The ninth meeting was held in 1994 at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. Forty-eight people attended, including four from AUSJAL schools representing Brazil, El Salvador, and Mexico. Topics included “Internet: Access, Disclaimers and Other Needful Things,” a survey of the range of IT responsibilities at various institutions, instructional technology support, and network resources and security. The social highlight of the conference was a Monday evening Cleveland Indians game at Jacobs Field. The first game at the new ballpark had been played just 21 days earlier.
