The 2001 meeting hosted by Loyola Marymount University was very well attended with all 28 AJCU schools represented by a total of 65 attendees, plus Fr. Currie, S.J. (AJCU National Office), Juan Lanzagorta (ITESO), and Elliott Haugen (member emeritus). Topics included: Trends in Wireless Technology; Voice Over IP: Replacing the Telephone; and Managing and Controlling Extensive Web Content. Social event highlights were the Marina del Rey dinner cruise and the Sony Pictures studio tour.
Included below is a 1998-2000 summary survey presented at LMU in 2001 comparing IT hardware and software, classroom environments, Internet connectivity, budgets, and staffing at 26 AJCU and 20 AUSJAL schools.
