Sept. 23 Quote Sandwich

In the article “The Moral of the Story”, by David J. Baggett, he is asked about his book The Moral Argument: A History. In it, he talks about ancient arguments pertaining to the existence of God. “If you’re a moral realist… who believes in objective good and evil, then, philosophically speaking, those ethical standards have to be anchored in a divine source” (Baggett, 2020). Baggett believes that the very idea of morals and right vs. wrong is evidence of a higher power.
