When it comes to the important event that had a great impact on the formation of Vietnam nowadays, I cannot help but mention the event that took place on September 2, 1945, also known as the National Day. This is a major festival every year in Vietnam. It marks a hook, the beginning of a new chapter is when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi. This is also the official birth date of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the forerunner of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

It has been 75 years since 1945, every year the Vietnamese people will celebrate this holiday because it is the day that Vietnam becomes a completely independent nation. When you walk on the road, you can easily find the flags, which were being used for decoration; they appear everywhere on the street. As you may not know, despite the President have read the Declaration of Independence in 1945, until 1975 Vietnam was completely being peaceful and united as a country. Being a Vietnamese, I choose this day to be an important historical milestone that has influenced the morality of Vietnam, because September 2 is the result of the following national liberation movement after a long arduous period of war.
