While looking for a suitable topic for my speech, I came across one of Jach Ma’s speeches. I found out his videos were very inspirational and very persuasive. Until I found the video talking about his journey from the beginning to his current success. The topic was very attractive and it inspired me to choose the topic, which we should never give up from a failure. This topic is familiar to me, and everyone, because we always have to face many challenges to achieve ours goal.

The volume of the speech was appropriate to space and audience. It’s exactly loud enough for each audience to hear his voice clearly. The variety of tone Jack Ma has in his speech plays the most important role in persuading the audience. It’s an enthusiastic, forceful, and engaging speech. Through his experiences, Jack Ma reminding the audiences what they should and should not do in a cautionary tone. Sometimes he’s also trying to be funny so the speech will not be too serious.

While giving a speech or being interview, he always moving his eyes around, from the reporter or the MC to the camera. Jack Ma does eye contact interspersed, which makes the audiences feel like they are having a conversation, not listening to a long speech. His gesture and body movements smoothly coordinate when he speaks to illustrate what he’s describing or talking about
