In this lab a master mix was created to help the PCR reaction. The following was added to the master mix:
- 146.9 µL ddH2O
- 22 µL 10x buffer
- 22 µL MgCl2
- 11 µL BSA
- 2.2 µL dNTPs
- 2.2 µL of F-primer and R-primer (Miri70)
- 0.5 µL Taq Polymerase
- 1 µL of Template Sample
Combine these into a 1.5 mL microtube. Add 19µL of master mix to 1µL of sample into fresh labeled microtubes. The tubes were labeled as follows:
- TT1 – DIRA 012
- TT2 – CHIM 007
- TT3 – CATB RG
