I am a native Californian, currently living in Sacramento. I’m a former Marine, who participated in Desert Storm, and was discharged with honors. I’ve achieved an associate’s degree in Music, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on Psychology and Communication. I’m also a fitness instructor and certified personal trainer which is how I spend most of my recreation. I have an aptitude for computer technology, but my true love and passion in life is people.
What is the most exciting part of your job?
Being in a learning environment with the excitement of learning students is exciting to me. Also working with a cohesive management team at the Sacramento Branch. IT support is something that comes easy to me, but it’s always the people and the culture that makes me excited.
What do you like to do in your free time?
For fun, I love to snowboard. Recently I’ve been focused on growing myself as a leader and being much more involved in free enterprise and community outreach.
What advice would you have for faculty and students?
My advice is to always seek to manage perspectives that are different than your own. Having multiple perspectives makes it easier to connect with others, and helps you have more options and choices when dealing with life.
Anything else you would like to share?
Please feel invited to reach out to me! I am very approachable!
