Coming into college, I didn’t know what to expect out of a public speaking class. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be super nervous, or fumble one very word I said; I didn’t know whether or not I would make any friends, regardless of the fact that we’re all freshman, and I didn’t know if I would enjoy the class or not. After those first 4 hours, I left Lone Mountain with a different mindset. I knew I was going to thoroughly enjoy this class and everyone in it, and I left feeling more confident about the way I address an audience with the activities we did.
