Meet up with the professor went really well. I think the fact that I’m talking about gender expression among the cycling community was a bit of a surprise, because it is so uncommon. Normally you wouldn’t think about a group to focus on something so particular, reason being that almost all cycling groups are gender inclusive. Going over my powerpoint we came to the conclusion that it was good, but not great. There are a few things I need to work on including adding in reference to a previous reading, finding local connections to compare the Portland group too and finding some way of confirming the credibility of Quinn Lindstrom (the founder).
