1991- Canisius College

The 1991 meeting at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, was the sixth meeting of the then named AJCU Computer Center Directors, with attendance of 26 persons including Fr. James Sauve, S.J., Vice President of AJCU, and three representatives from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico.   Topics included the extent and makeup of Computing Advisory Committees on various campuses, the development of guidelines for responsible computing, how institutions were promoting the development of instructional software by faculty, and use of this new thing called Internet.

The conference started with a reception on Sunday evening and ended at 2:30 on Tuesday with a Birds-of-a-Feather session. The conference fee was $140; the conference hotel was $88 per night; and transportation was via two 15-passenger vans driven by Computer Center staff!
