This week was our first time exploring San Fransisco. We rode our bikes down to the panhandle for the first time. I was very scared to ride my bike at first because i hadn’t ridden i avery long time and we had to ride on the street with the cars. when we got to the panhandle we took a look at the different type of bike lane that was there and how it was much safer for cyclists. This week was also the first week we gave presentations. We gave presentations in groups based off of a ted talk video. Our presentations were on a speakers credibility and how we can rate credibility. My group decided that our speaker was fairly credible but also not interesting and seemed to be talking not to inform the audience but to promote himself. This presentation was good practice for our real individual presentations that we will have to do the following week!

This class was my very first class as a college student. i was very nervous for it because it was a four hour long public speaking class. However once i got to class I really liked the group, the class size, and professor hunt seemed like a very nice teacher. This helped me get rid of my nerves. I remember on the first day we went over what a good public speaker was to us. For me i said a good public speaker is confident and passionate. I still believe these are very important qualities and i hope that i can work on improving in them for my future speeches.
