Out of all the speeches for project 1 I was most impressed with Malia’s. Not only was she very clear and composed when she gave her speech, but she was also extremely passionate about her topic. She discussed the idea of Hawaii becoming more environmentally friendly. While her facts were extremely well organized what really made the speech good was the pace of her speech as well as the volume that she spoke at. Her feet were planted and she used her hands a lot while talking which was good because they weren’t awkwardly by her side.
