As Executive Director of T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights, Rabbi Jill Jacobs is at the vanguard of the Jewish human rights movement, working to mobilize 1,800 rabbis and cantors and tens of thousands of American Jews to protect human rights in North America, Israel, and the occupied Palestinian territories. For the ninth annual JSSJ Social Justice Lecture, Rabbi Jacobs appears in conversation with Rabbi Michael Lezak, staff rabbi at the Glide Center for Social Justice of Glide Memorial Church and Foundation, and Dolores Canales, the co-founder of California Families to Abolish Solitary Confinement.
