In modern society, as transportation develops the internationalization became easier for many countries around the world. The fact of internationalization brought up a great question that, is it important to have a rich cultural diversity in the work or a company? There are many ideas and answers to this question with different evidence. However, having rich cultural diversity can largely benefit the company in some ways. According to Hofhuis(2015), “Firstly, it is recognized that an organization’s markets and stakeholders are inherently culturally diverse. Hence, having a diverse workforce is a valuable tool for gaining knowledge about, and access to minority groups within society (Ely and Thomas, cited in, Hofhuis, Joep and et al., 2015, para.15).” many of the companies are beginning to expand their market internationally, therefore, they are going to deal with people with many different background cultures, and this is exactly why it is very important to have a rich cultural diversity in the company, which leads to a better coping style to those customers with different cultural backgrounds.
