Byrne San Francisco

bicycle-diaries01

Byrne first starts the chapter by describing a very detailed scene of his arrival in San Francisco. Byrne pays very close attention to detail. He thinks outside of the box, trying to connect things together. Byrne likes exploring and taking adventures. He uses his bicycle to get around and enjoy the wonderful sights that California and other places have to offer. Also, Byrne observes the people’s behaviors and notices empty streets and realized people love to work. He talks about the beauties of San Francisco but he also depicts the ugly side of San Francisco. Byrne bikes over Golden Gate Bridge, Mission, SoMa District, etc. and illustrates what he sees. He mentions Taqueria Cancun, which is a taco shop that is located in the Mission on Mission Street. It is one of the best local shops in town.
