Chommanart is Thai name, may be hard to spelling for English native speaker.  The meaning of my name is a kind of flower that has a good smelling, like the rice cooking.  The monk in Thailand gave me this name because most of Thai people is Buddhist and it’s Thai culture setting up the name through the birthday details.

However, I used google translate to search the meaning my name in English, it’s so funny that is totally different from the original meaning.  The meaning from google is Lounger.

I have friends who changed the name, they changed their name because of the fortune as the main reason.  The fortune teller said that there’s some alphabets (Thai name) that made you unlucky or unhappy.
