Should you spend 500 dollars for the new generation gaming console Xbox Series X and Playstation 5?

For people that loves great graphics, like 4k gaming, 500 dollar is worth for an upgrade because a graphic card that run 4k gaming has already cost more than 500 dollars and only for the graphic cards.

For PS5, if someone wants a next generation controller, he should choose PS5 over Xbox series x.

For people that like playing 1080p games or 2k games, 500 dollar for a console won’t be needed. Because people likes to play 1080p games or 2k games, they like to enjoy other stuff in the game not just the graphics, and most of their equipments can ace in 1080p or 2k resolutions. So that there won’t be a need for the new generation console.

Also, the last generation consoles are still going to work for another three years in order to let the new generation consoles build their own ecosystem.

 

Example that I found was from a Youtuber called Austin Evans. He does tech reviews all the time. So I watched his videos about the new generation consoles.

I read Meijing Zhao and Runze Yu’s response. For Meijing Zhao, she mainly focused her points on the things that Dick Gregory’s personal experience on being ashamed by the things that his surrounding are doing to him. She had one point which is similar to mine, which is she wrote Dick Gregory wanted care. Runze Yu and mine response had the same points such as the author use his experience to reflect how racism taught him shame. I like the way that he wrote about how behavior can do more damage than words to people. Although Dick Gregory did not receive any ugly words from the surrounding, people’s behavior was more than any ugly words.

 

Individual writing

For my country China, one of the most significant event that I could think of which also shaped my country was 1949 when the people’s republic of China was born. The History.com has a variety events of Chinese history, for 1949, “After a violent end stage to the civil war, the Communist Party declared the People’s Republic of China.”. (History 2019, p1). I found this event significant because if there were no born of people’s republic of china, China would be still in wars of fighting against its own people. This event definitely have impact on future events, because this is how China started up and move its steps into the “new world”.

I read Aditya’s response, and his main point were appealing to the audience. His points and mine were similar because we both focused on the purpose of the writing. Knowing your audience and use their way of thinking to write the essay will make the argument more effective. Aditya also had another point which is different than mine, he chose choose a specific style for your paper. I agreed on his point because a good structure will help the readers not get lost in the words. In addition, he also added having a strong introduction and conclusion. This I also found helpful because a good start draws audience’s attention and a good ending adds a completeness to the story. These are something that I can learn from his response.

I read Mersaydes Barika’s response on the discussion. Her points and my points had one thing in common, which is we both chose having a strong intro and conclusion. Her reason and mine were similar, we both agreed that a great start and a great ending will always make the argument stronger. Something different between her points and mine is she also chose knowing the purpose of the writing. This I found also important because knowing the purpose will help both the writer and audiences understand the argument better.
