I worked in a group with Alisha and Ruki.

After reading Ruki’s response, I do not think that he understood the purpose of this discussion because he did not provide any examples from the book, as we were asked to. In order to improve his writing, I suggested him to try read the instructions more carefully, and answer exactly what the question asks. About Alisha’s response, I think we both gave the example of Martin Luther King Jr. that talked about the repetition and parallelism in his speech “I Have a Dream”. We both talked about the importance of the introduction of a presentation because it  gives the audience a clue of what the argument is about and what opinion the author holds. I think what both can do better for the next time is providing own examples in order to show why you think these examples become more effective than the others.
