I read Kadi’s response about the essay Monologue that was written by Marilyn Chin. I like how he interpreted the essay by using his point of view of how blessed he is to express himself the way he want. Kadi also  wrote about the difficulties the narrator is going through and how it effected her; And tells that he can understand how frustrating it is to not be able to express yourself the way you want to. As I wrote in my response, her grammar mistakes is not her fault or something that she wished for, but it is just reflect on the place the narrator comes from. In my response, I wrote more about how still, with the inability of the grandmother to talk a grammatically correct English, her surrenders can totally understand her and not take offense from her little racist sayings; They know it is just her way to express herself and in her words “To tell the truth”.
