A big shout-out to senior Communication Studies major Victor Cortez who was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes this week! We can now add “professional athlete” to the long list of jobs held by our Communication Studies students and alums. (Is Victor the first? I think so, but if anyone knows otherwise, comment back!).
