A Day in the Life: #22 Katy Keating

Today’s “A Day in the Life” post profiles junior Communication Studies major and women’s basketball team forward #22 Katy Keating.  Katy was nice enough to keep track of her day last Friday.  Why is this important?  It was the day the Lady Dons played in the first round of the WCC Tournament in Las Vegas!  Here is “A Day in the Life” of Katy Keating: Friday, March 4, 2011:

The Lady Dons on the road

So many comments to add!  1) How smart is the tape across the door?  I’m filing that away in the “future pareting techniques” drawer.  Kidding.  Maybe.  2) Don’t you love Vegas buffets?  3) Although their season is over, the Dons fought hard in their final game and almost pulled off an upset!  The final score was Santa Clara 62-Dons 58.  4) Katy’s reaction to the loss shows how hard these women played this season.  I think their record doesn’t reflect all of their hard work and dedication.  5) Impressive brush with fame… Nick Cannon!

Special thanks to the “University of San Francisco Women’s Basketball” facebook page for the pictures!  Search in quotes to be their fan!

Thanks, Katy, for taking us through your day!  We’ll extend our vicarious time in Vegas on the blog tomorrow.  Who will you see?  Who will it be?  Check tomorrow to find out!
